Getting Connected at Starke Church of God by Faith is as easy as 1,2,3...
STEP 1
Attend Membership Orientation.
Orientation is led by Senior Staff and provides an opportunity to deepen your understanding of Salvation.
In addition the staff will share the vision for our future, our beliefs and our core values. You will also learn the
responsibility of membership as well as have an opportunity to address any questions or concerns you may have concerning
our ministry. Orientation is a wonderful time of fellowship.
STEP 2
Complete Starting Point.
Starting Point is a six-week foundational class that is designed to place new members on the path to becoming fully
devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Starting Point is held each Sunday morning from 9:00-10:00. The topics include: How to
pray, How to Study the Bible, How to Share Your Faith, How to Honor God with Your Giving, How to Participate in God's
Family, and How to Serve in Ministry.
STEP 3
Join a Small Group or Serve on a Ministry Team.
We believe that ministry is best accomplished in Teams and life change happens best in Small Groups. Various small groups
are offered throughout the year such as: Operation Timothy and Crown Financial ministries small groups. Many opportunities
to serve exist throughout the ministry year.
